I bought the surebonder glue gun from hobby lobby last month and I was really enjoying it. I haven't had any problems with it until last night. I had it heated and had been using it and then all of a sudden it would't squirt the glue, It was still hot so I am not sure what the problem is. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you do about it?

make sure the glue stick is feeding in properly. It has that black ring and it has to go in just right or it will stop feeding glue.

Thank you for the advice. I plugged in my glue gun this afternoon and it worked with no problems. I don't know what was wrong lastnight but hopefully it won't happen again and if it does I will try what you suggested.

I got this gun and I have the opposite problem. I keep having to pump the gun to get it to flow and it blobs. I keep burning my fingers. I never had this problem with my old low heat gun. I didn't buy the professional surebonder - just the regular one b/c I liked that it was smaller. Can someone recommend a gluegun that has a better flow? Help!

I am interested in what the surebonder looks like and it's benefits. I read about this before and was going to look it up at Hobby Lobby and have forgotten to do so. I use The Ultimate Glue Gun by Aileen. I bought it at Micheal's and it has different tips you can change out and two temperature settings. I really like it although it cost about $20.00. I tend to use the smallest tip to control the flow of my glue. HTH

I would love to see a pict and hear about the bells and whistles of the surebonder.

Hi Renee! Here's a pic of what my surebonder does

I have had an adtech - same problem

I had cheapy mini - wouldn't trigger well

If the one you have for 20 bucks works and has a tiny nozzle attachment, I think it would be worth it. I waste more glue sticks with this dribble business...if I did floral arrangements I could put all the glue droppings in a melting pot.

I would say it worked well for the first couple times I used it. Now, you see what it does. I bought it because it has the small nozzle. I'll have to check if HL or Joann's have yours...then I'll use my 40 or 50 percent off coupon!

and I use their own glue sticks, too!
