Hi hi

I got it from HOTFIXQUEEN. I wanted the PRO cos it is dual voltage. I need one that runs on 220V. They sent me the one with 110V. I will fry it it I were to plug it in. There is no way I can use it unless I get a transformer.

I am sure HOTFIXQUEEN will do a swap.. but the postage involved in sending the darn thing back to USA and waiting for the new one to be sent to me (and provided if they will send to where I live) will take another 4 weeks.

Sob sob...

Angela

Did you order the Mylar Paper? If you hv that, letsay for big stuff i.e shirts, caps, even a mini iron will work. It beats using the hotfix tool blinging the crystal one by one especially the big designs.. Even a medium design is a [email protected] to bling every single crystals.

Worse case scenario, I'd say buy the transformer..

Can I ask what do you use the Mylar paper for? I noticed it on their site and was curious.
I love to bling things and if there is something out there that is going to make things easier...then I gotta know ...LOL

i use it when i bling designs...

Hotfixqueen explains it better Mylar Design Paper:

HotFix Mylar Design Paper - Making your own Hot Fix Transfers is simple!
How to Design a Hot Fix Motif- HotFix Design Paper is a 2 part paper - a clear heat resistant plastic see through sheet and a white opaque protective backing. After choosing your design make sure you print it out in the mirror image (this is extremely important for words as your transfer will be created in the mirror image). Separate the 2 sections of hot fix paper and place the clear sticky side up with your design underneath. Using a pair of tweezers pick up your stones/studs and place them upside down onto the clear sticky heat resistant paper (the glue will be facing you). When you are done placing the stones replace the white opaque sheet to keep your design protect until you are ready to use it.

Edit to Add:

1)..Pick Design and using the Mylar paper, I sorta *trace* the design using the method above, as per Hotfixqueen explanations.

2) Walaaa...Iron on or Hotfix the design unto the bow...

I think those hotfix tools are over rated. I have one and hardly use it. I like the iron on with the paper. I bought mine from MJ TRIMM. Much easier for big projects. Also, the hot fix really is good for clothing articles. Do not use it on flip flops, cell phones, etc, it will not stick. Been there, done that. For flip flops, etc just use e6000 or someother type of glue and use the flat back stones for those. You really want your stones to stick and I find the hot fix really doesnt stick all that well.

Yep! Got the mylar paper locally, where i will arrange the designs I want and iron onto tees and stuff. But I wanted to bling small parts of a design, so having the hotfix will help alot.

Oh! I found a transformer! It was a pain paying extra dollars for it, but it sure beats sending the darn thing back for an exchange!
