Ok, so I usually package my bows on either business cards or bow cards (postcard size), both of which have my Business name, phone number and email on them. However, I feel like it's tacky and repetitive to give someone 6 of my business cards if they order 6 bows, just because I package them individually that way (and I feel like it's a waste too )

So, if someone orders a bunch of things from you and you normally package/d the way I do, what would you do? How would you change the packaging so it looks nice but isn't overwhelming with your marketing materials either?

Help! (please)

I do the same thing too. I worry about overpackaging....but I still put as many as will fit neatly on a card. Sometimes 2-5 depending on the size. etc. Always in the back of my mind I wonder if part of the order might be a gift. If that is the case I would want it to be on my card.

I was having the same dilemma so I decided not to use the bowcards anymore
it was just so wasteful I think

For large orders, I usually just pack bows/headbands in a box w/ crinkled paper as filler. I send 2-3 business cards (hoping they will pass them out) and take ONE bow card (the larger size) and write a personal 'thank you' note on it. Then I add the packing slip from my cart. If there are just a few items, I card them all.

My next goal, I learned from another merchant, is to include a coupon for a certain % off their next purchase. I just need to get it together and print them. It gives a little incentive for return customers.

Just my 2 cents...
