Default Alagator clips, which do you prefer

Do you prefer single prong or double prong? Why?

Do you prefer with teeth or with out? Why

I'm ready to make some clips and want to get opinions on the clips before I buy some.

thanks In Advance for your opinions

Monica

I use double prong without teeth. I feel its much easier to work with.

I should ask, what do your customers prefer, which ones hold better?

I agree with bcroud I use 1 7/8" no teeth. No problem using them that I'm aware of. Good Luck BUT watch out it keeps calling to you.

Thank you all. I thought maybe the teeth would help it to stay in thin slick hair, but I can see where inserting them could be a problem, we are equally divided on single and double prong. I'll probably use both and let the customer decided.

You've been helpful

I use both single and double prong, but seems lately I'm gravitating more to the single. I've never used the ones with teeth but for non-slip factor, I use either foam or cuts from the drawer liner. You can find posts on both all over this forum.
Good luck and God bless.

I've ordered some stuff somewhere for non slip factor 1000 pieces for 8.50. The more I think about it I bet the single prong are the easiest to insert. thanks everyone

i use a single with teeth but most of my clients are 2 & up. I have a very active 4 yr old & 10 yr old so i tested my clips before putting in a big order. I had 10 different kinds sizes ,shape etc i narrowed it down to 2 .
