Default Having Trouble with snap clips

Where do you get the best snap clips? And what is the best way to line snap clips? The ones I have (when lined) don't stay snapped together very tightly. Also, every time I try to line them, I get frustrated. I try gluing the ribbon and then attaching it to clip but more often than not, it comes out bumpy and just doesn't look as nice as lined alligator clips. HELP, is there a secret to doing these?

*Bump*

Me too! Surely, someone must have some helpful hints for lining snap clips. I have a ton & have yet to use them. They never turn out right.

Do you guys use 3/8 or 5/8 to line them? The ones I have are 4/8 wide, so a little silver shows if I try to use 3/8 ribbon

I don't like them lined - but when I do, I use 3/8.'' I prefer to wrap mine like this.

I love Michelle's 30mm x 9mm. I hvn't hv had any 3/8 snaps that shows the hardware since I started using it.

Now, if you use 30mm x 10mm, only some 3/8 will totally cover it and some 3/8 don't.

P/s: Jen, will PM you here in a bit.

Yay! I wrapped some snap clips & they turned out great. Thanks guys for helping me figure out what I was going to do with these . I thought I was going to have to trash 'em since they're wider than 3/8.

I wrap mine too...I just think it's so cute to have that little peice of hair visible and if you line them you can't see it

I wrap mine as well, they look really cute that way. I don't like linning snap clips.
