Default Photo Thieves....Ongoing Thread

Because I find people stealing my photos several times a week, I'm going to start posting here the shops I'm finding that are doing it. Usually, if they are stealing from me, I've found that they steal from everyone. Check for your photos here:

Here's the start:

KF Shoppe on facebook

CTBOWTIQUE (aka alexandracombs) Just look at all the items she sold using my tinkerbell photo. She received bad feedback so she opened up a new shop and is sill stealing photos

The first girl obviously knows the photos don't belong to her and must have been warned about them before because she thinks if she posts "Photos are for reference only" it's ok. Too bad I can't comment.

The 2nd girl.. I see bad feedback in her future. Did you see how many of the scarecrow tutu dresses she sold? There is going to be a lot of disappointed people.

Way too many of those ladies get into the business and think it's "easy money" They have this attitude like "I can make that" and before you know they are way in over their head.

Girl you are good. How do you find so many of your pictures? Do you just randomly look at shops or do you search for a specific product you make and see if pics show up?

Not that anyone would ever steal my pictures, mine are VERY amature, buy I'll be investing in some professional pics to update my site and want to make sure mine aren't taken.

Thanks!

I think starting this thread is a good idea. I also am curious as to how you find your photos that have been stolen? At least it will be easy for people to see the shops that use stolen photos. I just don't understand why people do that. I think they are putitng their business at risk and doing a disservice to their clients. Most likely the items are not nearly the same quality as what the photograph shows, which i suspect is part of the reason that they are stealing the photos. I would guess that the clients would feel disappointed and I would think some people might ask for their money back or dispute the charges.

The 2nd seller has bad feedback and it appears that she opened the 2nd shop because of it. I reported her to etsy as that is not allowed. Plus she's stealing people's photos.

I went ahead and emailed the links to some of the actual owners of the pictures. You can report to Facebook. She didn't even TRY to remove the watermarks on their pics. this is in reference to the Facebook person. You know what's so very wrong? She watermarks her own pictures. She must not understand the concept of what that is for. Its not advertisement.

I am pretty sure she does know what it is for. She wrote "property of". That makes her an even bigger b*tch since she steals photos but doesn't want anyone stealing hers. Some people

If everyone reports the photos then Facebook will remove them but there needs to be a large amount of hits to the photo in order for it to be done.
