Default super crabby with walmart

I took some cute pictures of my kids at a corn maze today and just wanted to print some simple 4x6's to frame they look like crap the colors are not fluid and they all have way to much blue were can I get decent pics? I got a great camera and I want the prints to match I would never get like an 8x10 at walmart but I figured they could handle a small pic.

That sucks!!

I always order from Snapfish.com, or Shutterfly.com. They are super quick to ship, have a great variety of products, you can ALWAYS find coupon codes, and their quality is fab.

That really stinks! I like snapfish and my local walgreen's isn't to bad. I usually go there when I can't wait for snapfish

I hate going to the Walmart photo place too. Seems like every picture has the heads cut down. I know darned well when I look at them on my computer my kids have all their heads, then comes to printing and they are all scalped. Walmart has no explanation "sorry, it just turns out that way sometimes"
I guess the low price is not worth it sometimes!

Yeah I printed some off and they were cut off really bad and were grainy. I dont think I will be going to walmart anymore, I will just have to start planning ahead and ordering from snapfish or something like that!

We had the same problem at target with the kodak 1 hour service so we complained and didn't pay for them. Hubby ordered them from Kodakgallery.com and them came out perfect! I printed Marina's birth announcements at Sam's Club and loved how they printed there too.

Places like walmart, costco, target, etc are not the best places to get prints from. They do not calibrate their printers so prints vary even from printer to printer at the same location. I order all of my prints from professional labs since I edit on a calibrated monitor and I know that the labs I use calibrate their equipment so I am getting prints that are close to the colors I see on the screen. My prints cost me more but I think they are worth it for the improved quality. I am not familiar with snapfish, but I have heard from non photographer friends who order from there that the quality is fairly good.
