Okay...hey so make it a wider 8 or a skinny 8? im making it pretty skinny im used to making them more wider. I guess somewhere in the middle.

Yeah it is big. I used 29in for the base and 6 inch for the spikes and 18 for the twisted. still trying to figure out best way to make the surrounds.

and it looks BIG cause my baby girl has a small head bless her <3

If you are doing the 8's I make them as skinny as I can but after it is together you clip the middle or stick a needle through it and widen the x that is formed in the middle hth

I agree, great bow, but smaller surrounds. I personally hate doing surrounds, I just never like mine. I'm my worst critic. Good luck!

I agree, I like the surrounds to "hug" the bow. I have never seen 5/8 as a surround, but think on a bow this size it works. Love the colors and the model is gawjus!!!! Otherwise, HUGE improvement!!
