Default White or Black Background?

Ok, I need ya'lls help. I'm working on taking pictures of my bows and don't have photoshop yet to make the backgrounds pure white so everything I'm doing at the moment is just my camera and picasa. I wanted to know what everyone prefers... a black or white background? Does anyone have any ideas on which background people are more likely to look at on ebay? I know the majority of the pictures have white backgrounds.

Thanks,
Susan

I thought I'd add two pictures so you can see the two side by side.

The black one caught my eye. It looks really good. However, if you had a bow with black ribbon it might get lost on a black background.

I think that some colors look better on black and some better on white.
I think with your pic's the pic with the white background the colors look truer

The black looks good, but I agree that the colors are more "true" with the white.

Black!! The bow pops and all you see is bow - not background.

I like the White back ground. The black seems to change the color of your bow?
