However, she has NEVER bought anything from me and she has taken about every single picture I have on my etsy site and put it on her site.

I am not the only clay center pieces pictures she is using. i will contact the others to let them know.

Here is my letter so far:

I am the shop owner of Green Meadow Clay on etsy. I came across your facebook site and saw that most of my clay center piece pictures are on your page. I understand that you are not claiming to make them yourself, but they are my photos which have been used without my permission.

Generally, I am more than happy to allow customers to use images with my watermark to show their potential customers the choices they have for thier bows. However, you do not have my permission to use my images.

I am asking you to please remove my photos from your site.
That you know of. She could have used anyone to purchase from you (a cousin, sister, friend in another state) and had them mailed to her. Even so, taking all your photos is just plain wrong.

Look forward to hearing her reply.

So glad that she took them down. Blows that she put them up in the first place.

On a lighter note, your centers are adorable.

JMO but watermark your photos..if you don't know how..invest the money to have someone do it for you...I know there are many women on here that are very knowledgable w/digital skills ect and I'm sure they could help you out w/ a professional watermark that doesn't distract from your products.

People are getting really ballsy and will do anything to make a buck..morals, honesty and integrity is not a virtue of some and stealing is just too easy for them.

And yes your centers are adorable!!

I am just relieved it was pretty easy. It always cracks me up when people who steal photos have disclaimers on THEIR page not to steal there photos..blah..blah...But I guess when you COPY other shops infor to begin with....

Anyways..my husband is going to watermark all my photos for me starting tonight. The ironic thing is if anyone wanted to use my photos to show their customers, I really wouldnt have aproblem with it as long as it is done with my knowledge. Just some common courtesy.

Well at least its done with...

And thanks for the compliments on my centers..I enjoy making them.
