Default Taking a photo class?

Hey yall, I'm in need of some better pics and I was wondering for those of u that take professional pics did yall take classes? Or did u just practice? I took a black n white photo class in collage but it was mannual and I want to do a digital class but not sure if its worth the money. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks!

Just with practice for me..... I haven't found the free time that it would take to take classes, with three kids all under 5 and my own business, plus trying to balance all types of appointments and regular house work, a class is impossible to fit in for me right now, not that i don't think it would be worth taking in a few years when they're in school and i will have time to be a little more settled down for it.

I would spend the class $ on great camera and practice.

I would take a class in a heartbeat if I knew of one in the area! Even though I have just a point and shoot camera, it would help with composition, etc.
