Default PW Rocks My Socks!

I'm in the process of trying to learn more about exposure, aperture, shutter speed, etc and bought the book "Understanding Exposure" as recommended on the Texas Photo Forum - TexasPhotoForum.com - great place, btw. However, it's taking a bit to sink in. Loads of information and I guess I might need to start out with Digital Photography for Dummies or something, lol.

I don't know how many of you have heard of the Pioneer Woman, but she has an awesome blog and today she explained a bit about aperture and it finally clicked! Yay for that! ThePioneerWoman.com There are four tabs over on the left-hand side - click on the 3rd one down to go to the photography section and on "read more" on the entry to see more photography articles. Once you're there, she has an archive of all the past photography entries and there's a lot of good stuff in there!

It's great! You should check it out!

Someone recomended that book to me, but I haven't had a chance to check into it yet. I'll have to look at the bookstore for it.

Your link didn't work for me, but I think I found it here. ThePioneerWoman.com
Going to check it out now. Thanks.

Great link--Wish I would have found that when I started researching exposure, aperture, shutter speed, etc...

Yup, that's it! Sorry, I didn't realize the code went all wonky in the posting process. It's fixed now.

I've had that book for over a year now and have opened it once. I just don't have time to sit and read but I need to because it's about time I start to get to know my camera!
