I need help with pictures and my camera, I really don't have a clue! I want to be able to take decent pictures that I am not ashamed to post on my website.

Should I take a course or is their a website or book i should go through??

I am currently taking a course started last week, however i do know quite alot and i learned it on my own google a great place to start just type in the camera you have look for forums of people who use it, search about apature and shutter speed and how they effect your photos "understand exposure" is a great book if you have a DSLR. Good luck!

The one best thing I did was make my own light box...it's a cardboard box, white tissue paper, and white posterboard and two desk lamps and it makes ALL the difference...I can see if I can get a tutorial to show you but if not I may just write one.

Here is a tutorial for a light box. And like the pp said, it really does help so much!

Alas my lightbox is gone lol I had one but my kids thought it was to colour...funny how they can destroy things so quickly! I need to make another...I just wish I could understand my camera a wee bit better (no fancy DSLR...just a high end digital...and I wish I could just take decent pics!!

I did some posts explaining some of the basics a while back. (I never did get around to the third one I was supposed to post, but didn't know if there was still interest.)
