Default headless models? (lol)

Do you think it looks weird to have 'headless' models in your photos. After all the photo stealing that is rampant right now, I thought twice about putting my sweet girls face online. But do the pictures look weird that way? Do you think it would hinder sales? Opinions please

It's hard to say. Usually, like to see faces but in this case, the colors of your photo are great and I have a good idea of how it looks being worn. So- I think it works.

I think it works, it wouldn't stop me from making an order. I'm sure most parents will know why you did it lol. I would think twice about it as well!

When I see photos like this, it makes me wonder if the seller stole the pictures from someone else. I think if this is the direction you want to take you should look into getting a nice mannequin. I have a metal one and I think it looks nice. Here is a photo I took using one I bought from Hobby Lobby. http://miloscreations.com/item_124/F...e-for-Kids.htm

Just my 0.02 cents.

That's kind of what I was thinking people might think, Cheryl. and I don't want that!

Maybe I'll take some more from a high angle so the top or side of their head is more prevalent but not cropped out completely? I guess I'll just try some different poses and see what I come up with.

I want to get one of these when I have the extra funds: http://www.abcdistributing.com/home/...82254-0VDF---2

Thank you everyone for your thoughts!

One thing I do with my dd, is tell her to look at her shoes or bellybutton. That might help if you don't want to show her face.

That mannequin is a nice one and for 20.00, not bad! I think I paid about 30.00 for the one I have from Hobby Lobby and mine is only 38 inches tall. I'll have to save that website for when I am ready to purchase another one. The mannequins are great to have at craft shows for displays if you do shows.

Honestly, I think they look fine. I use to do headless pictures all the time. When I use to make dresses I had my son (2-3 at the time) model them. Then I would crop his head, so you did not know it was a little boy..lol. If you looked close enough you could tell by the way he was standing...lol.

I don't think it's weird at all! Too bad I can't use a "headless model" for my bows, lol!
