Default Question about trading product for pics

Ok, a friend of mine recently started her own photography business. Today she was going to purchase some of my things but I offered her the option to do a product trade. My question is....do you guys get anything signed from the people who's photos you are using? I know the photographer sometimes has the client sign something so that they can use the photos for advertising, etc. But how does it work then on our end? Does this make sense?

The photographer keeps the products in "trade". Plus, the photographer builds his/her portfolio in doing the pictures.

You should definitely get a release from the parents of the kids whose pics are being taken! I have a form I could email you if you need one. Just PM me!

Your photographer should get a model release. I have every client sign one, especially I'd they are under age you want s patent or guardians signature. You can google "free model release for photographers" and find plenty of free templates. Without that, you can not use the photos for any type of publication be it in print or digital such as online or email.
