Default I made my version of a light box

I decided to make my own light box for my items. Taking pictures is not my favorite thing to do! How do u think they are coming out?

You need more light so you won't have the grey around the photos. You need light from all sides. You can always edit that in photoshop though. I love the headband on the glass vase but my eye goes to the crease or seam on the backdrop behind it. That too can be edited out though. You might try taking pics outside in the sunlight on a piece of foamcore or whatever background you want. Keep trying - It's so hard to get good photos

I am going to try and make one too.. I really want to get photoshop, but then that is another "to do" thing. Is photoshop expensive??? I should hop on over to EBAY, however I have been in GB after GB and there has to be a stop point here. I need to take some pics for EBAY so going outside with my camera sound like the thing to do right now.

I don't have photoshop either. I use picnik.com. It works great! Quick example below.

Your photos are great. I don't want to hijack this thread, but did you use a lightbox? If so, how do you adjust the box for a top view like this? I'm shooting from the front and everything sits at an akward angle. I'm trying to prop it up with NO success!

I don't think they look bad....and I photo shop is really complicated and hard to learn....I know some people love it but I HATE it....of course I no longer take my own pictures....I have fooled around with the picnik and I really like it...its cheap, user friendly and you get great results!!!

Last time I checked on Best Buy Photoshop was over $100! Also after u buy it if you don't know how to use I guess you then have to start looking for tuturials. I tell you the learning thing never ends. lol
