I don't think they look bad....and I photo shop is really complicated and hard to learn....I know some people love it but I HATE it....of course I no longer take my own pictures....I have fooled around with the picnik and I really like it...its cheap, user friendly and you get great results!!!

Quick tip: do not make a hard edge such as a 90 edge for the background that you will be shooting your product against. Use a piece of white posterboard and curve it into place. Use the matte side of the board. Even better use white material and place a lamp with one of the new Eco friendly bulbs about 2 feet behind the curved background and also one lamp on either side. Standard bulbs create "yellow" light and you'll never get the solid white your going for. By placing the light behind the product you'll help to eliminate shadows.

I wish I still had the container I used but I took it to a boutique full of bows. I was just a rubbermaid small clear box then I placed a white sheet over it and placed a lamp on top of it. That was it.
