try wrapping it around one of those decorative balls people use in their homes to put on coffee tables ect.
Put the ball in a bown with a few other that are "plainer" and focus in on the headband making sure to get some of the surrounding decor. That should give it a "catalog" esq. look

I haven't figured out how to shoot soft headbands yet (getting some great ideas here though! ) but for the hard headbands I place them on large bow cards and do simple perspective shots. Nothing fancy but I'm pretty happy with how they turn out.

I would love to know how she gets them to stand upright.

I love these containers. I finally found them at one of my local Dollar Tree stores and bought two. I am going back to buy a couple more, I hope they still have them. They are wonderful for the soft headbands but I'm thinking they could be used to display other things too. I'm all for purple, pink and clear glass!!!! I love the look. I was thinking of adding those flat colored marble things in mine but I couldn't find the colors I liked....black ones would be stunning though I like the rocks and greenery for an outside look.
