I use Paintshop Pro. They have PSP X2 at Amazon for 30 something bucks! I'm using a trial of PSP X3, and it doesn't seem to be much different than PS. Just cheaper. Gimp is great for a free program. And some people can do A LOT with it. If you do go with PS, I would recommend Elements. Cheaper, and it'll do the basic editing that I think you want, right?

If you do use the background remover tool... take the picture on something that is solid, and a completely different color than is in the bow. If that makes any sense. It makes the background remover tool work better.
