Before trying to venture into photography I recommend you get a more professional camera. The lighting in your pictures are terrible.Cute little girl though

And she didn't say that she's a prof photog. Also it's not the camera that takes good pics in the person behind it. I've seen good shots from regular point and shoot and some terrible ones of dslr.
