Default Fabric background for photos?

Does anyone know how to make the fabric backgrounds that I've been seeing alot on etsy for photos? It looks like some are just stuck on the walls. What do you use to keep it on the wall? It's just a flat background.

Here's a blog that mommyof3princesses sent me on how to do this. It's basically just fabric on the wall with some nice trim. HTH

Not a problem! Thank mommyof3princesses she's the one who found it and sent it to me because we had been talking about it.

This might sound tacky but could you just tack it to the wall with some clear tacks? Like put a tack on all four corners so it doesn't fly up? I guess you'd end up with tiny holes in your wall but at least it would be nice and tight and easier than the suspender clips.

there are easier ways to do this, just take the idea that she starts with and you can come up with something yourself, If I can find it I will post the set up that i know other photographers use and that I will use when I get my studio set up.

Thanks for sharing Tiff!

I don't use the suspender clips. I bought the photography clamps on amazon and hold it no problem! So I just clip the top of the fabric first and put a few on the sides as well! Then you just tuck it under the trim! I'm using my current wood floors so I just set up the backdrop! If you have any questions let me know!
