Default What's the deal with hiring models??

I've seen a few posts of people looking for models. And I've seen some great looking models So what's the deal? Are the models paid or do they just get to keep the items photographed? My girls are getting so big and I will need some new pictures once I get my website up and running again.

I use my own girls, and I've never had to pay them.

Gosh you are lucky!! I use my daughter, she is 5 now and I have to pay her!! More like bribe her! When she was 3-4 she was great, but now that she is 5 and in kindergarten she knows how to work it! "I'll let you dress me up and take my picture, but then we are gonna go to Toy's R Us and get me that new toy I really want" Once she put 2 and 2 together she quickly realized she has the upper hand!! Needless to say we have started using other models! MUCH cheaper and less headache!!

So true, I have a newborn niece that I wanted to let her model some FOE headbands but she is so sick. I wanted to put them on my etsy shop if I ever get things on there. I will probably need some 2-3 and 4-5 year olds soon.
