Default professional pictures

I took the plunge. I have the photographer booked for next Sunday. Hope the weather is good. My question is this. I really want outdoor pictures but not sure if the colours of the season will be okay with the colours of my items? Will it look okay to have the pinks, purples and girly colours while the background will be in fall colours??? Will it clash? I have never done this before and the photogragher has only done this indoors. I really want outdoor pics. Any advice and should I just concentrate on more "wintery" items?
TIA

Are there many evergreens where you are? The pine trees would make your pics year round unlike fall leafs.
hth

post pics when they come back!!!

Here is my opinion from experience:

My first photographer, we did it outside (same season). I had the big girls wear brown shirts, the toddlers wear pink and the babies wear white. I absolutely hated the way they turned out. The colors in the background were just way too distracting I thought. I had issues with the photographer too, but that didn't matter on the background.

The next photographer I went with, we chose to do inside on a white background. Everyone wore white and then I found one small prop that was the color of the bow/clip/etc. they were wearing so that just the bow would pop but that the prop would help offset all of the white too. All of the pics on my website that are white background are from that shoot. The rest I've just had to update and I don't have the lighting I need to make them match what the photog did even though I have the camera to do it.

Oh, and I supplied the first set of shirts that we didn't end up using, so for the second set, they all just wore their own items. I asked that the babies didn't wear the cheap onesies, but that still happened-but oh well. We were there for over 3 hours and were ready to go home by the time it was over-lol

I agree, the fall colors can be very distracting. I have taken photos for about 3 years now, and I feel that for product photography it will be too much.

If you are going for product photography I'd go with a simple background.

If you are having family portraits done then this time of ear is great for bright colors. I love shooting my clients in all the jewel tones and harvest colors of the season.

Hi ladies
After all your wonderful advice I have decided to do indoor pics instead. This way I do not have to worry about the weather and the colors. Thanks so much again.
