Awesome idea. I will have to totally remember if I need to take decent pictures of ribbons.

If I make something like that now, it would just be a toy for my DD and the cat .

Thank you all.

Yes Tara, that works great with natual lighting. The purpose of the light box is to difuse the direct light to remove or soft the shade.

You're welcome. The flower vase is the center piece I won on the Christmas party. If you didn't post your question, the pictures will be still hiding in my laptop.

Thank you! I've been thinking of doing something like this, I've seen other instructions. Yours seem so much simpler!!! I've also been using some white or black fabric draped on the couch, not working out too well

I feel totally stupid posting this, becaue everyone else seems to understand it so clearly.

So, the best options is 2 side lights diffused with tissue paper?

Were your lights those lights that you get from wal-mart or just standard 60watts.

Sorry, the kids have been screaming all morning so my brain is a bit fried.

Sorry. I don't know what's wrong with my shopping cart software. Sometimes I cannot get underline under the links:

Here it is:

daylight bulb (click here).

I use 2 'professional' lights which mounted on tripod. You can use 2 normal clamp lights or any lights you have. Just get the daylight bulb in the link above. The new daylight bulb is only about 25-30w (bright as 100w) so it works on any light, won't burn anything.
