Default Sparkles in Photoshop?

Okay I followed the tut that someone posted on how to add the sparkles in photoshop but I can't get it to really "pop" like I've seen some of you do! Do you select a color or what advice can you give? It's showing up really thin when I add it. Do you know why that is? I hope I explained that clearly! LOL

I haven't read the tutorial so I'm not sure exactly what you're doing, but if you're using the "sparkle" shaped brush then I use white for the color. If it doesn't show up enough then just click it more than once in the same spot and it will intensify it.
Also, there are a few other brushes that can be used for the sparkle effect, so maybe try a different one.
HTH!
