I too was afraid they would be heavy so I wore them around for awhile! lol... No they didn't feel heavy at all to me. I made these for a friend so after her nieces wear them I can get some feedback from her.....

I should say also that I messed up the colors on the first bow I made and I could not for the life of me pull the tiles off! I only had two so I needed it to redo the bow. I had to cut the old bow apart and take a razor to scrap the glue and ribbon off it. So I'm not worried about the tile being too heavy for the ribbon to hole it!
