Default tutu pictures

I would like to take pictures of my tutus without having to use models, I currently have them hanging on a hanger, but not a fan of how the pictures have turned out. any one have any suggestions?

You could probably get really creative. Maybe put it on the ground and take a shot from straight above it. Hang it off the side of a funky chair or something similiar. Or maybe do comething cute like hang a bunch of them across a clothes line.
Good luck!

Hanging it on a clothesline with a wood fence in the back would be nice. I was in a pinch one time and took pics with the tutu on my daughter's stuff animal.

Someone on here had beautiful Tutu pictures on a manaquin (sp). It didn't have a head just the body on an black iron stand (i think). I thought it looked gorgeous against a pretty backround (colored wall, outdoors, ect). You could probably get one pretty cheap on ebay or such.

I like the photo shared in one of the responses. And as someone else mentioned, taking it from 'the top' seems to give a neat look sometimes, when you can see the full circle.

One more idea --- if you had access to a dance studio in town, maybe you could take a few pics of the tutus either attached to or hanging from an actual BALLET BAR? That might be cool! Actually though, that might be hard to shoot with the mirror they usually have behind them. But you could have some tiny 'ballerinas' in the room, so if anything was shown in the reflection it would be them... Just a thought.

Or you could see if their parents mind if they model for you. Most of the time parents are excited to get a chance for their kids to try modeling for bragging rights. Another idea is to contact local photographers, and offer to trade a few as props in exchange for pictures. Then you could always post a professional picture, and then post your pics if the tutu you are selling is a different color.
