Default Card Error

I have been having trouble with my camera. I turn it on and it tells me CARD ERROR when I press play to see pics. Does anyone know what this means?? Is my memory card broken?? Please help!!

take your memory card out and try to upload your pictures on your computer, if that doesn't work then maybe its messed up.

Try blowing inside your camera where the card goes. Maybe that'll help

This happened to me too a couple of months ago. I had to buy a new card. I got mine on ebay for $4.50 (new, inc. shipping) and it has worked perfectly. If you use the SD memory card (as I do) they've come way down in price the last year or so.

I had this happen not too long ago. My daughter had taken my card out of my laptop when it wasn't ready to be removed. I flipped it back & forth in the computer & the camera a few times & it still said card error. I tried a different card in my camera & it worked so then I put the one that had been saying error in & it worked that time. I think I did a little air blowing of things too.
