Default Using Bow Models

I am going to mail some bows to a lady in order for her daughters to model them for me, I've seen her work and it's great and so is her feedback....now I don't want to seem like I don't know what I'm doing but i really don't so.....I need these back because business is good but not that good where I can afford to give away like 7 bows!!

Is there some sort of etiquette to follow when it comes to models...I mean should I let her keep one set and send the rest back to me? Of course I will pay for the return shipping.....I've heard of some people including stickers or bubbles in with there bows instead of letting them keep the bows.....

IDK, what do you do?

Thanks for any advice anyone has to give.

I use my own little princess as a model but I think most people trade the photos for the bows you have to figure the fact she is taking photo and letting you use her childs picture that is worth something. And if you were to go to an agency you'd have to pay money. I would clarify with she is willing to trade you the bows for the photos. I would leave it at that. You just have to think of it from both sides. I'm not sure if she's editing the photo and setting up the backdrops etc..but that all takes a lot of time.. its just as worthy as your bows. I hope that helps. I just know its very time consuming because I do it as well.

Yes, the known etiquette is that the models keep the hair bows, that's how all my models do it. You should discuss the terms with the mom before you send the bows so everything is clear.

My daughter does alot of modeling for other boutiques and we just trade the bows for pictures, the bows you send the more pictures they have to take so i think its fair that she keeps the ones that she models,, we are doing pictures for a whole website and this lady is just sending 3 bows at a time until she gets done with it so that she doesnt take a loss from the bows,, but comming from the other ends point of view, its does take some effort to get you kids to take the pictures and the more pictures the harder it is lol so i think it would be fair to let her keep all the bows. hope this helps =)
