Default How to take great pictures, and a watermarking question

I am curious, I see a lot of you are taking really great pictures of your bows, they almost look like professional photographers are taking the pics for you. So for those of you who are pros at taking great pictures of your bow please if you would share some tips and tricks. I have a pretty good camera but I do feel that I could be taking better pictures.

As for watermarking, what are you all using to watermark your pictures and make them look super cute?

I haven't took allot of pics of bows, but i have used this photo editing program for enhancing pics of my family and i love it. You can download a 30 day trial period before being asked to purchase. It has everything! just read all the hints and try everything out to get the hang of it. Here's the link Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 - Photo Editing

Hope this helps

you can also dl a free trial of photoshop

I would say first step is get to know your camera. What are the features it has? Does it have settings you can tweak? Macro setting is a must. Do something besides "auto" which most people tend to rely on with their digital cameras.

I also recommend a tripod. I prefer white or black backgrounds but I think it's a preference. Definitely keep it simple. I don't have a photobox, my kids would destroy and I don't have anywhere to store it. Take a BUNCH of pictures of all sides so you should have 3-4 that are good enough.

Watermarking - I use picnik.com It's free, easy to use.

Last, practice practice practice.

I agree with pp. Get to know your camera. Keep your background simple.

For watermarking I use photoshop.
