Default Any Advice??? how much to sell these for?

I bought 44 3 packs of ceramic christmas ornaments from a friend for $10 awhile back ago.. I thought maybe i will paint some tonight. WOW it takes FOREVER to paint them. I got 2 1/2 done in about 5-6 hours lol... its so hard to get the paint brush in between the lil crooks n crannies and trying so hard not to get the paint everywhere.. anyways yeah those darn things are a lot of work!!

i am planning on selling them at the fair im doing in december but now i have no clue what to charge for them since they take sooooooo long to paint.. Here i a pic of the 3 i made so far...

They are really cute!

Maybe you can spray paint the base coats and then do the details by hand. That should save you some time

I have no idea! I think that will be tricky because it could be one of those things that people don't want to pay for the price you may want to put on them from all of that work. Some people don't think of the time involved-they just look at the price. I don't even know what to tell you. How big are they?

ETA: You did a great job on the painting! I know I wouldn't have the patience and I hate painting too-ha

You did a good job painting those- maybe $3 or so, ornaments are so cheap at places like wal-mart and HL that most people just won't pay too much for them. I may be way off here, I've never sold ornaments.

I agree... maybe you could use them on wreaths and make more money back.

Agree. If you were to use them to embellish some wreath, you will probably make more money for your efforts. Selling them on their own is not going to make much.
