Angry How can I make this a better pic?

I sell my paci clips on Ebay and I have samples of the ribbon that I use taped to a large white paper bag. As I get new ribbon, I tape new samples to the bag. But when I take pictures they're horrible.

I tried taking them in a bright room with a flash (some of the ribbon had a glare to where you couldn't see it)

I tried taking them in a bright room with no flash (Weird shadows appeared)

I tried taking them in a dim room with a flash (that just didn't work)

Please Help!! I'm convinced that i'm not selling as much cuz my pictures are bad!!

I attached a picture of some of my ribbon samples. Please help!

Also, I can get 3 yards of ribbon at Hobby Lobby $1. Does anyone know where to find ribbon online that is in this same price range?

if you have a micro setting on your camera, use it. I take most of my pictures outside in natural, non direct light. Do you have access to any photo editing programs that you can create your own ribbon story board? I think it would look more professional.

check for ribbon or or Michelle's stock for ribbon

and in the end, the love you take... is equal to the love you make

Hi, just wondering...are you laying your board down and standing over it to take the picture or are you leaning it against the wall?

I agree - I think you should cut the ribbons equal lengths and make it more like a swatch card. You could type the names of colors or color numbers in Photoshop or other photo editing program. I would suggest a light box to ensure quality images of your products and a more professional look.

Michelle has instructions for one here:

This is what I do...

Just layer your ribbon/paper/etc in equal parts holding your camera over your grid take a picture with your camera set on macro. Then take your picture into paint and add numbers and letters. Easy Peasy

or what you can do is make one paci clip in all the ribbon you have so people can see what the finished product will look like.
