Default *Updated* Pictures of Hats

Thank you all for the input. I have attached my new pictures.

Any suggestions on how to take good pictures of hats? They don't sit right on anything I try to place them on, so I end up taking pictures of them lying flat. I am so not creative when it comes to this!
Any advice would be appreciates. Thanks.

Cute hats! Lay flat on white surface to photograph, and go to fotofuze.com and bleach out the background. You can even create listings there by uploading from computer, editing and publishing directly from fotofuze to Etsy. You can also edit existing etsy listings to improve pics you already have up. I love it, and think it has worked wonders for my photos! Best thing about it - it's free!

I have found candle holders at goodwill and used them as props for my photos. You could always put a styrofoam ball inside the hat and prop it on top of a candlestick.

Models are always great! But can sometimes be hard to use when you are first starting out. What about getting a round glass bowl/vase (I'm thinking like the ones from the craft/floral section in Walmart and use that as a "head" to take photos on.

I purchased one of these to photograph headbands on when I was shooting for different Etsy shops:

Ivy bowls are a great size for hats.

flip the pot over, drill hole in bottom, paint it and there you go.
