Default Photos of your items

Do you take photos of everything you make, including gifts to others? I kick myself all time when I create something and don't take photo of it before it leaves my hands. I feel like most of my best work is "lost" for display because I forgot to take a picture. Everytime I want to show off an example of something I have done, it just happens to be something I didn't take a picture of. I was just curious to see if I was just over reacting or if other do the same thing I do, and if there are actually some out there that are so organized to actually be able to do that.

I just finished my first custom order and forgot to take pics, and now I am totally kicking myself! I try to keep a record of most things I make so I can remember it if I really like it, be able to see how my skills have improved, and also to show others for possible future orders. Luckily the girl who ordered them was one of my Girl Scouts, so I'm fairly confident I'll be able get a photo or two from her after the event.

I usually do, if anything for my "portfolio"--i have a folder with all my orders I have done so that I can show prospective clients, and then for items that i send to models to be photographed for me, i take a general picture with all the demensions, etc so i can recreate it.......hope that makes sense. But, yeah, I usually do.....even if its just a quick shot with my phone.
I wholesale tutu hairbow holders, pony tail streamers, twisted boutique bows, pinwheel bows and satin singed flowers!! PM for details!

It's a smart thing to do but I usually don't either.
