I like the basic paper idea

I actually JUST made this light box. I took this picture with my cell just to see how it would turn out. I LOVE IT!! I attached before and after pictures!

All you have to do is take a big enough box, poster board & white tissue paper.
Cut out a square out of the sides except for 1. Then you Put the tissue paper against the sides tape it, set the poster board at a slight angle but not bent and you have a light box.. then you put a lamp to give it the light

Hey their i'm new to the forum!

All my headbands I make I have professionals take pictures of them. My pictures that I try to take off my camera never look good, lol. So what I do is a prop trade. I ask photographers to take photos of my headbands and in return they get to keep my headbands for photo props in their studio! Most photographers love it because it gives them a variety of props for their clients to use.
Good Luck! :-) you can look at my etsy page as paepierboutique

WOW! this is awsome! Thank you for posting the link. I just finally broke down and paid someone to take out pictures of my items for me, and so far it cost $500.00 ($10 a picture). I do have a very good digital camera but all my pictures come out horrible. The person I am paying now uses a light box and I have no idea what it looks like but the pictures are great. This seem very cost effective to give it a shot.
Because I am constantly adding new products to my website, it will be great to do my own pictures. I will try it this weekend and keep you all posted. Thanks again for the info!

Good Morning Ladies, I stoped at Walmart on my way home and got the poster boards I need to make the light box. I spent less than $10 and it came out perfect. My pictures are 100% better. I am now in the process of retaking all my pictures and updating my website. Thank you so much for posting this information! Here is one of the pictures I took.

Yes and Thank you. I will be using this for all my pictures. In the process now of redoing all my old pictures (of the stuff I still have) and replacing the ones currently on my website. What a difference!

Cheerstones, your picture looks great. I did the light box as well and liked the result. Since I have a baby girl (free model!LOL) I decided to switch out a lot of my Etsy pictures to include her. I can really tell that the better your pictures are the more views you get. Good luck with your new pictures!
