Default Home photo studio question....

Hi all! I'm looking to build a little studio in my home where I can get some great indoor shots of my clothing being modeled by my daughter. I have my eye on one of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/1300W-PHOTO-...ht_5009wt_1162 on ebay, Here is one I was considering. Has anyone purchased one of these before? If not, then if you have a home studio what did you use to build it.

TIA!

I'd be interested to see if someone has a good one to recommend as well. I just built one out of PVC last week for around $20 but would like to purchase one later. Been looking at Amazon because of their detailed reviews but HG reviews are great!! Anyone?

Muslin is hideous in pictures, i'd buy a lighting set without the muslin included, to drop down the price, and i use a lighting kit that was less than 60.00, that included 2 light stands, light bulbs, umbrellas and a case for it

depending on what kind of camera you have..I have better luck with natural light and i purchased mini vinyl background for my product...but if your wanting full sized modeled shots..you still may want to research natural light with a backdrop even in a door way..there are tons of photography blogs to help...good luck!! Make sure you share your images!!

So I did end up getting a similar set on ebay. I like it so far (just got it yesterday). Now im looking to get maybe one more light and a pretty backdrop. The set did come with white, black, and green chromakey backdrops. this is a picture I took with just the 2 small kit daylights and not much editing.

I take photos in my home of my girls I use natural light and use a piece on vinyl from the fabric store as the backdrop. I have a suggestion for you. I notice in your picture you have shadows... move your item further away from the backdrop that usually helps...

Thanks! I'll try that (I was wondering how to get the dual shadows out of the pic!). This was one of the first photos I took with the setup. I will use more daylight, but I have to figure out a good location in my house to get that.
