Default someone please tell me this is a silly easy fix

I just got my camera a few months ago its a nikon d3100 anyway these lines keep showing up on some of my photos, I really don't know alot about photography and I am hoping nothing is wrong with the camera just the operator .

Me neither. The white parts are pretty bright though. Are you using a light box or natural light? There are some awesome tutorials on creating a light box on here. I try to avoid my flash at all costs on my camera. I have also just put coffee filters over my desk lights to help soften the light, and I shine from both sides. Have fun with your new camera.

Lines show up for three reasons (I dont see them either btw)
if you over edit a picture either reducing exposure
if you use two much of a high iso, it creates noise / grain could be also mistaken as lines (maybe?)
or your memory card is corrupt

maybe it is my computer screen? hmm I am off to look at it from another screen because they look fine on the camera but when I go to edit them I see these odd wavy black lines, across the whole thing.

It must be your computer screen. I thought this was a trick photo or something. I'm not seeing any lines either.

Wow sorry everyone for wasting time it is my computer screen big sigh of relief it's not anything with my camera I have broke so many little point and shoots, within about six mo. of owning them that I am super paranoid about a nice camera like this one.
