 Pay it forward -- non official rules
1. Each thread title should be like: Pay it forward--5/17/08 2. The 1st person (I'll call it pay_it_forwarder) who replies gets the item--please do not use PM which doesn't count. 3. The pay_it_forwarder replies the thread and posts a new item. 4. Repeat step 2 & 3, until 12AM EST. Then the new pay_it_forwarder please create a new thread with new date. 6. The pay_it_forwarder who offer the item pays S&H. Thank you and have fun. Michelle  |

I think maybe the offerer should just say in the post if it's U.S. only? I have taken up a few offers, as well as given. Three have been received, one was mailed yesterday and I have two more to go out.

I think if the person posting the PIF does not want to pay for international shipping, maybe the person asking for it could offer to pay for the extra shipping charge?? FWIW, anything I offer is open to everyone whereever you are. I'll make sure to put that in my offer so you all know. Thinking of something to PIF.... |

Nicole said mine was actually cheaper than mailing to her own state. I'm pretty sure it's cheaper for me to mail to the U.S. than within Canada as well. How weird is that?!

Totally understand Heather. I wasn't upset with you or anything.  I would still like to play though, as I have more things to offer. That is why I suggested that if someone doesn't want to ship to Canada or wherever they add "U.S. only" to their posts. I'm lucky. DH does the mailing for me.

I think you just have to fill out a customs form. My husband does all my mailing for me as I don't drive. However, I'm pretty sure you just fill out a little form that says what's in it and how much it's worth.
