Matching uniform ?

I am a newbie and was not sure where to post this:
I make hairbows for only DD and now she will be wearing a uniform to school. The colors are almost any combo of navy/khaki/white. When it comes to holidays, etc. should I make seasonal hair bows with the uniform colors and add a seasonal applique in the middle or make holiday color bows and forget about matching them to the uniform? I am having a hard time figuring out what will look best and I think I am thinking too much about it.

I would check with the school. At first, our school would only allow accessories that were school colors. They have gone away from that now (thankfully) so I send my DD in bows for every holiday. She wears her school colors when there aren't holidays and anything goes for the holidays.

Thanks for your replies. Her school does not have any restrictions on accessories. So, I am thinking school colors when it is not holiday time. But, I guess it is a personal preference. I was also going to make bows with her school colors and stick a seasonal, etc. applique in the middle.
