Here are the instructions for Mulan. Pics in Attachment. Sorry if any pics are blurry or something is confusing - I was trying to get it on here in time!
1) Cut out all your pieces: 4’’ 3/8 white – head, 2’’ each of 3/8 pink, light blue, and purple – collar, 5’’ 3/8 pink – sleeves, 3’’ x 3 of 3/8 red – skirt, 2’’ 7/8 blue – wide sash, red for thin sash – be creative here, make a braid, lay it flat, whatever looks best to you. I used 3, 3’’ pieces of 1/4 red to make a braid, 1’’ x 2 3/8 black – hair sides, 1.5’’ 3/8 black – topknot, 1’’ ¼ red – hair sash.
2) Heat seal all ends - remember to seal again after making any cuts.
3) Roll top of body to form head. Glue.
4) Take light blue piece and glue in the middle to the back of the body. Fold on side down at an angle and glue. Repeat with other side. Repeat this step with purple next, then pink.
5) Fold sleeves piece in the middle and glue. Make sure it is a somewhat steep angle.
6) Glue sleeves to back at the top of the collar.
7) Set body aside.
8) Make circle with one of the 3’’ pieces of 3/8 red. Take remaining two pieces and loop around the left and right sides of this base circle to make skirt. (Similar to other princesses).Glue skirt to body just below the point made by the pink layer of the collar.
9) Take your 7/8’’ blue and wrap it around the body, covering all glue points of collar and skirt – adjust to your preference for width/length. Glue.
10) Take ¼’’ red (braid, flat, whatever you like) and wrap around blue sash. Glue.
12) Pinch small part of the end of one of the hair sides and glue together. Repeat with other side hair piece.
13) Glue pinched part to the back of the head, with the “opening” of the pinch towards the face. Repeat with other side.
14) Fold backwards at an angle and glue to the back of the head. Trim excess. Repeat with other side. Be sure to adjust angle to get the look you want.
15) Roll topknot piece the same way you did the head, but make it about ¼ of the size of the head. Glue.
16) Take your ¼ red topknot sash and wrap it around the base of the topknot. Glue to back of base.
17) Glue topknot to the back of the head, adjusting to make sure it sits nicely on top of the hair sides.
18) Use your woodburning tool to cut "wiggly" angles on the sleeves for draped effect.
19) Voila, Mulan !
