Default Another simple version of Santa.

Hello guys, I post this one hoping I contribute to get enough the minimum number of entries for this contest.

You'll need:

3" red ribbon 7/8" , 1.5" white 3/8" and a white pompom for the hat,
1" light pink/cream 7/8" ribbon for the face (mine is a bit too pink so the Santa appears a bit drunken )

1" white 3/8" ribbon for the moustache , you'll make two diagonal cut at the two ends and heat seal to get the look as pictured.

1.5" white 7/8" ribbon for the beard

2 joggle eyes, a little pink pom pom for the nose

Small piece of red ribbon die cut round for the mouth, and 2 small pieces of white ribbon die cut as two bushy eyebrows as pictured. (you can just simply cut them and heat seal with lighter. That's what I did. Of course a wood burner will work much better!)

Needle and thread

1/Use needle and thread to sew across that 1"white 3/8" as pictured

2/ pull the thread tightly to gather and secure

3/ Cut the 1.5" white 7/8" ribbon as pictured

4/ Use needle and thread and sew along the shorter edge, pull the thread tightly to gather and secure

5/ Make a round trim around that 90 degree corner, heat seal all the cut around the beard and glue the beard and moustache on to the red mouth, so that you will see just a bit of red underneath

6/Make two cuts to the 3" red 7/8" ribbon as pictured and heat seal

7/ Glue the white 3/8" ribbon to the bottom

8/ fold the two ends of the white ribbon to the back of the hat, making nice angles. glue!

9/ Fold the top of the hat to the front, glue to secure, apply the white pom pom to the top end

10/Glue the beard/mouth/moustache, joggle eyes, nose, two eyebrows and the hat onto the pink face. YOu're done

And thank you all to read this
Lynn

I wasn't going to do this either, but I did not want everyone's hard work to go to waste! It took longer than I thought to make the instructions! I know I will not win, but it is a FUN contest because people have been sharing so much!

Same here! And thank you Sarah!

He is COOL!!! I like him a lot!

I hope you don't really think I'd ever laugh at any of you guys, especially you Lynn. IMO, it's me everyone should laugh at - I'm Mrs. Shortcut when it comes to making things.

Thanks for more wonderful instructions! If we still need more entries by the 16th, I'll move the turtle/ladybug and chick/bunny versions to this thread too.

Tonya, did I say something silly again? Again I meant no offence, oh please! Just wanted to say I felt a bit silly of myself posting this after I saw your wonderful Santa instruction. But I really do want that we get this number before deadline! And that's what I came up with spontaneously when suddenly saw an old Xmas bow of mine in my Gallery...it's simple though... So please don't get mad with me! Again!

And thank you

Lynn

Tonya, sorry again. I removed that silly joke in the original post. Don't be upset, please!
