All members who entered will get a free 150x150 ad button (link to your eBay, Etsy store or website) on header and footer until 10/30/08. The banner will be posted as soon as the instruction submitted. Please contact administrator 'hipgirl' for detail.

All members who vote for this contest will enter to draw a $30 Hip Girl Boutique coupon code.

Eligibility - All registered members of Hip Girl Boutique forum, except employees.

Rules of Game

1. All instructions that are submitted to this sub-forum Instruction Contest between 8/16/08 and 10/15/08 (CST) qualify.
2. Multiple instruction entries by same author are allowed.
3. The contest will be cancelled if less than 16 entries submitted by 10/16/08. If the contest is cancelled, all entered members will get the part of prizes ($270) evenly.
4. The poll will be created on 10/16/08 and will open for 15 days.
5. Each instruction should have at least 7 pictures.
5-1. All the images MUST be uploaded to forum Photo Gallery.
6. The instruction can be for hairbows, headbands, hair accessories, ribbon shirts, ribbon socks, tutu, bottle caps, poly clay, beads jewelry, sewing... projects.
7. By entering contest, you agree that hipgirlclips.com can copy and post your instructions to Hip Girl Boutique! Hair Bows, Hair Clips, Ribbon And More. Any request to remove or move the instructions will be declined.
8. Please do not include advertisement in your instructions (you may get less votes because of that). After 10/16/08, you can edit your original post and add any ads--advertise with useful infomation.
9. The format of the instruction must be HTML which is a normal post with pictures. Here is an example:

10. Please put "3rd Instruction Contest" in the thread title so we won't miss your entry. For example: "How to make hairbows--3rd instruction contest".
11. Please include: Are the instructions for personal use only? Can we use the instructions from the contest to sell the things we make?

Ahhh... I see now. Got a question, as established previously, I'm not the sharpest tool in the... what do tools go into?? ANyways, if ya make something that you saw a picture of but did not follow an instruction, can you post an instruction for it? Assuming no one is selling instructions on them (that I now of...?). Hard to make something no one has ever, ever made before.

I think as long as you make the instructions as you go then you should be alright but im sure someone else can answer that better!

In the first instruction contest several entries were of the different "princess" clips. They had seen them, or seen pictures of them and made up instructions on how to do them from the picture. Everyone seemed fine with it than, so I am sure it would also be okay for YOU to do something similar.

Good question. It's up to the authors. I'll modify the contest rule so authors will mention it in the instructions.
