** Pictures are fixed yay!
Here is one of my tutorials

Im working on more!
I made this up last night while working on a birthday girls gift.
The birthday girl LOVES frogs and my girls wanted to make something super cute for her.
I apologize for my wooden letters being painted already as that was the girls part of the gift
Gather your supplies:
Wooden Letters (These can be purchased at walmart, hobby lobby, michaels and JoAnns Craft stores)
Acrylic Paint I used Apple Barrell .64 each at walmart in purple grape and hot pink
Foam brushes .25 each at walmart
wooden decorations (frog and daisies) .59 each-frogs at hobby lobby and .25 daisies
Ribbons! I have 4 yards of various ribbons Ive dug out of my stash here.
Hot glue gun and gun sticks
Scissors
Gloss Spray Paint CLEAR any will do just clear and fast drying preffered.
I used a craft one I found in the craft section at walmart for $3 a can.
Something to put your letters on to tote them around while you work on them, I snagged some priority flat rate envelopes lol to use.
First step, Lay out your supplies and take pictures. No just kidding
Lay out your supplies so everything is handy!
and place your letters on your cardboard or posterboard (or envelopes

Paint your wooden letters using the acrylic paint

I coated mine 3 times front,2 times back.
My girls painted them for the first 2 coats ,so I have no naked letters LOL they were itching to paint
Let dry between the coats about 15 minutes or so. The paint dries fast.

Then pull our your clear gloss and move your project to a room w/ good venting , or outside
I went outside on the back patio.

Coat them once on each side with clear gloss spray .
Then allow them to dry. I let mine dry at least a hour so they arent sticky.
Once dry they should be safe to remove from the paper/cardboard etc.
Remove and admire your pretty glossy letters!

Now pull out your wooden decorative pieces you bought to embellish with.
Place them on the letters to see where they would look best at.

Hot glue or e6000 your wooden pieces in place.

Cut your riibons to start tying them onto the letters.
I cut mine about 6 " long for excess length
Start tying your ribbons on in random places .If you like the look of them glue them in place with a dot of glue under your knot.

Finish tying your pieces on.I only used it on a few letters. I fray checked my edges after securing them.
Seal your edges now.

If you prefer to add ribbons on the back to tie and hang them , Using 6" cuts, glue 2 pieces to the upper back of the letter. You can then tie the 2 pieces into a bow and hang .I did NOT add ribbons to hang as the mom prefers to use cup hooks and hang them at a angle.
Once your done with that, stand back and admire your work hehe.

I then packaged mine up and tied with a ribbon to gift them to the birthday girl.
Hope you enjoyed my tutorial !!! The girls enjoyed helping. I will be posting more sewing ones so be on the lookout for those! Enjoy and thank you michelle for running one of the most awesome bow forums ever!!
