I made my daughter bibs with cotton front and chenille back. I use them all the time (at home or away). Some of them are almost a year old now and they still look good. Can't speak for the minky ones because I have never made those. But the ones I make (if you want to see an example click on my etsy link) wash up really well. I haven't used a store bought bib since I made my own and I will never go back!

I really need to start making my own bibs for my daughter. The Chickpea ones are too cute!

I don't know what my costomers do with their minky bibs! LOL I use our daughters for when she's super drooling from her teething. I've been washing her bibs and burpcloths since she was born (she's almost 11 months) and it's kept the shape and color. I just love minky!

I also traced a bib to get the size that I liked and then played around with the shape until I got something that I liked. I use chenille or minky to back it in and a cotton print on the front. I stick an extra layer of flannel in the middle. Both the chenille and minky wash and wear very well. I use oxyclean powder to soak my bibs for the occasional stain. I have bibs listed in my etsy store.

I purposely bought the carrot and broc fabric to hide the stains!
