Hi everyone!!!!!!

I am looking for a baby sling, the kind for older kiddos? i have a front pack, which i hate!!!!!! and a hip hammock, you know, where you hold the kids on your hip, which i do really like, but i am looking to find a sling. This actually came about in a funny way... we were on my mom's boat, and the boat broke down, and we had to walk home. well, i was of course lugging my fat 8 month old (LOL), so i ended up tying my sweat shirt around and under her butt to take some of the strain off my back, and it actually really helped, so i though hmmm, maybe now is the time to take the plunge with the other kind of sling. I've always looked at these, but never gotten one... so anyway, i was wondering if anyone makes these or knows a good place to buy them????

Thanks so much!
Jamie

I really love my Moby wrap which I purchased from their website. Here is a pic of me wearing it with my daughter on my front and my back. You can also wear infants in the cradle position or on your hip. It's really a lot easier to use than it seems.

I think my daughter was about 8 months old in the pic of her on my back and probably 10-11 months old in the pic of her on my front and the one of her in the front all covered up, she is about 6.5 months old (shortly after the pic, I turned her around so that she was facing me since she was sleeping).

Good luck!
Kimberly

I don't make them, but I love my Moby wrap as well as my BabyHawk! Both kind are good for babies all the way to toddlers!

My mom made me a pouch sling last summer so that I could carry Chloe when we were in busy places. She loved it. Around here the most popular carriers are mei tais. Most people I know who wear their babies have one. Apparently they are very comfy. I plan on getting one when I'm pregnant again.
