Default Automatic threader

I have a Brother 1250D. It seems like the auto-threader jams more than it works. I bought the machine in March, and while I know I can take it in and not be charged does anyone have any advice on how to possibly ix it myself. It is sort of a pain to have to lug the thing to the dealer. TIA

I will give the same advice I gave someone else yesterday. I would check yahoo groups for a brother sewing group. I am sure a lot of ladies with the same machine will have an idea for you.

I was the one having troubles the other day with this. I have a Bernina, but someone told me to completely rethread the machine. So I did and it worked like a charm. Hope that helps! Good luck!

If your machine is still under warranty, take it to the dealer to fix if rethreading doesn't help because if you try to fix it yourself and something else breaks the warranty will be voided.
