I did manage to get my new sewing machine out of the box. I guess I think it is just going to sew stuff by itself.

I saw one a few months back and saved a few shirts of my husbands. I haven't had time to try it. One of the shirts I saved is a very thin plaid that is white with red and blue. I may try to get it done so she can wear it for the 4th of July.

Goodwill is another great place to look. you have to really look.

Iam making a few of these for my DD and my nieces. My step father passed away fron stomach cancer last year and my mom had all of his shirts. I thought it would be great to repurpose his loved shirts!! My mom is so excited to see the girls in those and each shirt has a story to tell even the ones with stains!
