Talking so sew?

i'm fairly new to crafting and have a few questions. is it possible to some how glue or iron patches and rhinestones onto faux ugg like boots? what about shoes? what glue would i use? im not too good at sewing yet. i want to try to make some for my 7 yo for xmas. thanks in advance!

Have you thought about handsewing? I'm not exactly sure what you are putting onto things, but if it's not that big you could handsew.

I have never tried it, but I would think you could use a iron on applique, but i would hand sew around it to make sure to secure it. Otherwise I don't think is would stay on as long. Just my opinion

a local boutique uses a heatpress and puts on appliques and heat transfers...

I think I would use something like E6000 before I would try to iron anything on. I would be very worried about what the iron would do to the surrounding area. And usually you need a pretty hot iron for appliques to stick good and I just don't think a hot iron on fabric of the boots would be good.
If nothing else it will flatten the nap, even with a pressing cloth over it.
I'm not so sure stitching them on would work either. It would be really hard to get a needle through the applique and the boot fabric.
Only my opinion, but I think glue is the only thing to use.

that's what i was thinking but like i said i'm kinda new to "crafting" so i wasn't too sure. so e600 glue should work??
