How do you make a pettiskirt?

thank you! That's all I need to know. I only hv a basic Brother sewing machine and so does mum. I don't like purchasing any instructions without knowing what I need to have. I'm the kind that have to have all materials ready before I buy a/any kit... =) Thank you again... I will be purchasing the kit for my mum.. =)

I just bought the kit and i didn't think the directions were all that great if you have a ruffler. They do show how to do the ruffles the other way though and they are alot more detailed. I'm working on making the ruffles now and i'm having a hard time..

I didn't purchase any directions. I just used the Martha Stewart one from her website. It's super cute. The gathering was a PITA since I don't have a ruflfler foot! lol. BUT I eventually learned that if you put the tension on the highest it goes when you sew this fabric it gathers it itself. Made it so much easier and faster!
Here's a pic of the first one I ever made! It took me 10 hours! lol.
