Default I Need help ASAP my sewing machine is jammed

I have a brother LX-3125 sewing machine, and everytime I go to sew something I can get a few stitches done and then it jams up where the bobber is. The stitches aren't holding at all and I need to finish something tonight in order to be shipped tomorrow. I am so stressed I have tried rethreading the sewing machine, undoing the bobber and rethreading that, I have tried a couple of things and nothing is working. I am not super familiar with sewing machines as I don't use them on a regular basis so I am lost on how to fix this.

If anyone knows how to fix this please help!!

thanks in advance

Does it have a drop in bobbin case? Try taking the plate off and removing the bobbin case and putting it back in. Maybe it wasn't in correctly?

I had the same problem a while back b.c I wasn't threading it correctly down from the top where the spool of thread is. My husband came over and in no time did what the arrows clearly said to do and fixed it right. Sometimes it takes fresh eyes!!

I have done that sadly.

I know a totally stupid question, but I don't sew often, where would I need to place the oil?

I had this happen just last week. I found that under the plate where the bobbin sits and all around kind of on the inside where you cant see unless you take it apart was FULL of lint!! Once I cleaned all that out it worked perfect! Not sure if that will help you!

make sure your thread on the top is threaded and going in the right direction---you will also have to take your bobbin shuttle out make sure it locks into place correctly--even though you think you may have done it, 9 times out of 10 it's not in all the way--make sure you have the bobbin case screwed in well and free and clear of any lint and thread and place a couple of drops inside where the shuttle goes in, before placing it all back together, run your sewing machine for a few seconds to get the oil going and place shuttle back in and thread as normal

I agree make sure there is no lint build up. Also check and see if the bobbin is turning counter clockwise. Hope you get it to play nice with you.

Sometimes the bobbin casings can get dropped or otherwise 'smooshed' and the tension is thrown off. There is a little metal plate on the bobbin casing that helps control tension on machines that are not computer controlled. If is possibly the problem, I would try a back up casing. You can sometimes adjust it yourself, but it's not recommended unless you're familiar with repairs.
